Ironhorse Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Leawood, Kansas.
Ironhorse Golf Club first opened for play in 1995. The course was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan. The course was rennovated in 2008 and is today managed by Troon Golf for the city of Leawood.
Ironhorse Golf Club gained immediate acclaim after opening in 1995 when Golf Digest ranked the facility the No. 1 "Best Public Golf Course" in Kansas. Additional Golf Digest accolades quickly followed when the course was named one of the "Best New Courses" in 1996 and the "Best New Affordable Golf Course" in the United States. As the course matured, it continued to receive honors from local and national publications.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6889 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4745 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 555 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 190 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 425 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Ironhorse Golf Club is # 12, a 190 yard par-3.

Has had some trouble with all the heat this summer,However the green crew are all working hard, with alot of improvement,a couple of greens has bad spots,under repair. I have bought a senior 10 play card.for $300.00 M-F. W/cart. second one
